You Cannot Save
the Ocean Alone.
Neither Can We.

But together, we can remove one tonne. Then another. Then ten. This is not a corporate promise. It is a humble, focused pilot project run by two people who decided to stop waiting for someone else to act.

Why This Cannot Wait

The numbers are not abstract. They are happening right now, in the same ocean where fish are caught, where children swim, where coral reefs are either thriving or dying. Every minute that passes, another garbage truck's worth of plastic enters our seas. By 2060, the OECD projects that flow will more than double if nothing changes.

Microplastics have now been found in human brain tissue, placentas, and the lungs of newborns. Adults ingest the equivalent of one credit card's worth of microplastic every week. This is not a future problem. It is already inside us — and the only way to slow it is to stop the source.

An Honest Word About Where We Are

We are at the beginning. The Phuket pilot is our proof of concept — a small, focused operation designed to show that transparent, locally-operated plastic removal can work at a verifiable cost. We are not a global NGO with a hundred staff and a polished annual report. We are two founders, a team of local workers, and a river we refuse to give up on.

Every donation you make is tied to a specific, concrete goal. We will tell you exactly what your money did. You will see the photos. You will read the weight logs. You will know whether we succeeded or struggled — because we believe that honesty is the only foundation worth building on.

€10 removes approximately 1 kilogram of plastic from Phuket's coastline. That is the blended cost of our local team's work. No inflated overheads. No expensive international flights. Just local workers, doing real work, documented at every step.

Every Contribution Matters

€10 removes ~1 kg of plastic from Phuket's coastline

€25 funds a full day of field collection by a local worker

€50 covers transport, sorting, and documentation for one cleanup session

€100 funds one week of school education for 30 teenagers

€250 removes 25 kg — the weight of 1,250 plastic bottles

€500 sponsors a full week of river interception operations

What Your Donation Does

Every contribution moves three things forward simultaneously — not just cleanup, but the conditions that make lasting change possible.

Local workers collecting plastic from Phuket river

Removes Plastic

Our local team works at the river outlet that flows into Phang Nga Bay — intercepting plastic before it reaches open water. This is the highest-impact point: one kilogram stopped at the river prevents hundreds of microplastic fragments from dispersing across the ocean floor.

Every kg weighed, photographed, and GPS-tagged

PET, HDPE, and PP sorted for responsible recycling

Target: 250–300 kg collected per week

Weekly impact reports shared with all donors

€10 = 1 kg of plastic removed from the ocean pathway. Verified. Documented. Real.

Educates Communities

Cleanup alone is not enough. If the next generation does not understand why plastic ends up in the ocean — and what they personally can do — the problem returns. Our school programme in Phuket Province reaches teenagers at the exact moment when habits and values are being formed.

Research shows that children who receive environmental education are significantly more likely to adopt sustainable behaviours — and to influence the behaviour of their parents and communities. Education is not a soft add-on. It is the mechanism that makes this work last beyond the pilot.

Classroom sessions on plastic pollution and ocean ecosystems

Practical workshops: what to do, what to avoid, how to act

Target: 5+ schools in Phuket Province in Year 1

Curriculum developed with local educators and community leaders

€100 funds one week of school education for 30 teenagers — the next generation of ocean guardians.

Mangrove forest restoration in Southeast Asia

Builds Toward Restoration

Mangrove forests are one of the most powerful natural defences against ocean plastic. Their dense root systems trap debris, filter river runoff, and protect coastlines from erosion. Southeast Asia has lost over 35% of its mangrove coverage in the last 40 years — and with it, the natural barriers that once kept coastal ecosystems clean.

As the pilot scales, a portion of every donation flows into the mangrove reforestation pathway. This is the long game — restoring the conditions that make a clean ocean possible without continuous human intervention.

Mangroves store up to 4× more carbon than tropical rainforests

Each hectare restored protects kilometres of coastline

Pathway toward Verra-certified plastic and carbon credits

Local communities employed in planting and maintenance

Restoration is the destination. Cleanup is how we get there.

Be Part of the Answer

You cannot fix the ocean alone. Neither can we. But if enough people decide that waiting is no longer acceptable — something changes. Join us on GoFundMe. Every donation, however small, moves a kilogram of plastic off a beach and out of the water.

And when you donate, you are not just funding cleanup. You are funding a school session that changes a teenager's relationship with the ocean. You are funding a mangrove sapling that will filter a river for the next 50 years. You are funding the proof that this model works — so it can scale.
